The Downtown Resident Group continues! On Tuesday, February 25, nearly 40 residents came together for the Downtown Resident Group's second ever meeting. Residents from various Downtown districts and neighborhoods gathered at the Downtown YMCA to share ideas and discuss insights about living in Downtown Tulsa.

Downtown Ambassadors have been hard at work during the severe winter weather! While
limiting field work due to exposure to extreme temperatures, the Ambassador team has
made Downtown as safe and accessible as possible.

Extreme winter conditions are expected in Tulsa starting early Tuesday (2.17.25) and continuing through the weekend. The City of Tulsa and Downtown Tulsa Partnership (DTP) are actively preparing, including pre-treating sidewalks and bridges and coordinating snow and ice removal efforts.

The Downtown Ambassador Team will operate under abbreviated hours through Sunday 1/16. Temporary hours of operation on Thursday 1/13 through Saturday 1/15 are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The program will be shut down on Sunday 1/16 and will restart 7:00 a.m. on Monday 1/17 at which point we will reevaluate the need to continue with amended operations.

While 2021 didn’t go entirely the way we planned, we’re looking to continuing our work of advancing Downtown Tulsa in 2022. Until then you can find numerous ways to ring in the new year in Downtown. Please remember to celebrate safely!
